Vancouver, Washington Boat Launches

* These directions are very helpful, but I always recommend having a driving map to go along with them.

Portco/Kaiser Ship Yard Boat Launch

From Portland, Oregon.

1.  Take I-5 North from Oregon to Washington & cross over the interstate bridge.
2.  Entering Washington
3.  At exit 1A, take Ramp onto SR-14 [Lewis and Clark Hwy] (0.8 mi) This exit is on your right immediately after you cross
     the bridge.
4.  You are now on Highway 14
5.  At exit 1, turn RIGHT onto Ramp
6.  Keep RIGHT to stay on Ramp
7.  Bear RIGHT (South) onto SE Columbia Way and go under the railroad tracks.
8.  After going under the railroad tracks, Turn LEFT to stay on SE Columbia Way (1.2 mi)
9.  Road name changes to SE Columbia Pky
10.  Bear RIGHT (South) onto SE Marine Park Way (0.5 mi)
11.  Arrive at Portco/Kaiser Ship Yards

From Seattle, Washington.

1.  Take I-5 South.
2.  At exit 1A, take Ramp (RIGHT) onto SR-14 [Lewis and Clark Hwy] (1 mi)
3.  At exit 1, turn RIGHT onto Ramp
4.  Keep RIGHT to stay on Ramp
5.  Bear RIGHT (South) onto SE Columbia Way and go under the railroad tracks.
6.  After going under the railroad tracks, Turn LEFT to stay on SE Columbia Way (1.2 mi)
7.  Road name changes to SE Columbia Pky
8.  Bear RIGHT (South) onto SE Marine Park Way (0.5 mi)
9.  Arrive at Portco/Kaiser Ship Yards
 

Please bring:

  • Your lunch, and beverages.

  • Camera to capture the moment.

  • Large cooler or container to take fish home in.

  • Required license and tags. (If you don't have a fishing license, I can sell you a one day Washington  or Oregon license onboard the boat.)

  • Rain gear (coat, pants & waterproof shoes)

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses.
