Lake Merwin!  One of the best places in the NW to catch Kokanee Salmon!

* These directions are very helpful, but I always recommend having a driving map to go along with them.

From Seattle, Washington.

1. Take I-5 South
2. At exit 21, turn RIGHT onto Ramp (Go 0.2 mi)
3. Road name changes to Pacific Ave (Go 0.7 mi)
4. Road name changes to Goerig St
5. Turn LEFT (North-East) onto SR-503 [Lewis River Rd] (Go 20.8 mi)
6. Turn right onto Speelyai Bay Rec Rd (Go 0.7 mi)
7. Arrive at Speelyai Bay Boat Launch

From Portland, Oregon.

1. Take I-5 North
2. Entering Washington
3. At exit 21, turn RIGHT onto Ramp (Go 0.2 mi)
4. Turn RIGHT (East) onto SR-503 [Lewis River Rd] (Go 20.7 mi)
5. Turn right onto Speelyai Bay Rec Rd (Go 0.7 mi)
6. Arrive at Speelyai Bay Boat Launch

Please bring:

• Your lunch, and beverages.

• Camera to capture the moment.

• Large cooler or container to take fish home in.

• Required license and tags. (If you don't have a fishing license, I can sell you a one day Washington or Oregon license onboard the boat.)

• Rain gear (coat, pants & waterproof shoes)

• Sunscreen and sunglasses.
