The Boats & Equipment
We use extremely high quality boats, rods, reels, bait, lures, equipment and gear!
We know this is important to you, and we know that it's one of the things you expect from a first class guide service.
This is important to us as well, so we use nothing but the best. On a world class fishing trip, there just isn't room on the boat for "good enough".
We have three boats. All of our guided fishing trips are run in our spacious wide body custom made boats that very comfortably seat up to six anglers!
The Boats
"Tuna Tinder" our 35 foot Little Hoquiam built full walkaround pilot house. 30 MPH cruise speed when conditions allow. We take six anglers.
- "Tuna Tinder". This boat is moored at the Port of Ilwaco WA. She's a fish catching machine!
- Little Hoquiam Shipyard has been building some of the industry's finest custom boats for 50 years. Little Hoquiam has a time-tested, proven track record of producing boats of outstanding quality; built tough for serious work as well as luxurious recreation.
- 35' overall length and 11'6" beam, means allot of room to spread out to have successful fun fishing!
- Powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki outboards.
- Private Head (aka bathroom) with flushable facilities.
- Interior has a bench seat on starboard and settee with table on port side with storage and cushions, two spring loaded high back captain chairs, overhead stainless handrail, defrost fan, wipers, stainless sink and faucet, aluminum framed windows and door, interior gel-coat & webbing with teak finishes.
- Exterior finishes include PVC guard at gunnel and sides, second control station on aft deck, painted aluminum radar mast, stainless steel railings, rocket launcher pole holders on house top brow, two large fish holds in deck with macerator pumps, salt water wash down outlet on aft deck.
Our 28' Willie Nemesis. 30 MPH cruise speed. We take six anglers, however it has seating for eight.
- Technically known as ... "Lacey's Boat". This boat is moored at the West Mooring Basin in Astoria Oregon.
- This vessel is made by a company called Willie Boats out of Central Point Oregon. They are known for producing the absolute highest quality boats with unsurpassed customization options and the finest fit and finish in the business.
The great folks at Willie Boats were very gracious to do this video. Definitely worth watching.
Our 36' 7" Yellowfin, the Liberty Gun. 40 MPH cruise speed. We take six anglers however it has seating for 13.
- The "Liberty Gun" ... named after a race horse. This boat is moored at the Ilwaco Marina just accross the river from Astoria.
- This vessel is made by Yellowfin Yachts out of Sarasota Florida. This model is known for being the flagship of their center console lineup. Renowned throughout the world for having an exceptionally dry, fast and comfortable ride.
- Kevin almost had to go to the ends of the world to get the Liberty Gun and I would do it again in a split second. It's just an absolutely amazing boat to be able to fish out of.
- 900 HP
- Two large live bait tanks.
- A ridiculous amount of fish holds.
- 511 gallons of fuel fills her up!
